BEHIND EVERY ATHLETE. THERE'S A CHANCE TO KNOW JESUS.

Help us reach the next generation.

Join the Mission

Across Southern Illinois, FCA is creating opportunities for athletes and coaches to encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and experience the life-changing hope of the Gospel.

But this mission takes people willing to invest in it.

This year, you have an opportunity to be one of them.

MAKE YOUR YEAR-END GIFT

Your gift helps us:

Reach more athletes and coaches throughout Southern Illinois.

Bring Christ-centered encouragement into local schools and athletic programs.

Add More Summer Sports Camps - Called "Power Camps"

Put Bibles in the Hands of students throughout the region

THE GAME IS THE PLATFORM. THE GOSPEL IS THE PURPOSE.

Every school, team, practice, and athletic community represents an opportunity to reach another student with the message of Jesus.

Through FCA, we're building relationships, equipping coaches, serving athletes, and creating spaces where faith can grow.

Your generosity helps make these opportunities possible.

Where Does My Giving Go?

This is just a brief overview of where giving dollars are spent. If you'd like to understand in more depth of how our team utilizes their funds, please send us an email. We'd love the chance to speak with you.

  • Huddles

Huddles are FCA ministry programs where two or more coaches or athletes gather to grow in their relationships with Jesus Christ and His church.

In our area, we typically see schools hosting a huddle one time a week. These are student lead, and often, we provide snacks and supplies for these meetings.

  • Power Camps

An FCA Power Camp is a FREE youth sports day camp hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) that combines athletic skill training with Christian spiritual and character development.

In our area, students pick 2 sports to train in over the course of a few days.  Alongside athletic drills and games, campers break into small groups called Huddles led by trained volunteer or student leaders (often high school or college athletes) to discuss biblical principles, faith, and character.

  • FCA Interns

Our area is expanding! We are proud to share we will have 2 FCA Interns on college campuses at the start of the 2027 school year.

These students carry the load of the mission work on campus. FCA covers ministry funds while also helping cover some educational expenses in exchange for the students serving in ministry.

  • New Area Representatives

We've seen again and again, where we have "boots on the ground" more growth is happening!

We are grateful for our area representative, but we are in need of even more help to cover the Southern Illlinois area.

To be hired on as a FCA team member, an individual is responsible for raising their own salary and ministry funds. This load is what often stops our team from growing.

As a Southern IL team, we want to be able to help potential new team members spend more time in their first year building relationships than having the stress of raising funds.

  • Freebies for Students

It sounds silly - but those free t-shirts and donuts get student's attention. While our work is eternal minded, we know that we have to be able to first get students' attention before we ever have the chance to talk about The Gospel.

What might just seem like a free donut, is really the opportunity for a student to eat breakfast and potentially hear the gospel for the first time.

We've seen again and again that students find us for free food, but get involved because of the community found in FCA.
